Questions

What is a UPRN?

The Unique Property Reference Number: one identifier for each addressable location in Great Britain. It does not change when the address is written differently, which makes it the safe key for joining property data.

What should I send?

The full address including the postcode. The flat or house number matters: without it, several homes in the same postcode can match.

What if nothing matches?

The response has no match and a warning. Matching works best for homes with a sales history. A postcode with no residential sales may return nothing.

How many lookups are free?

The free plan on RapidAPI includes 100 requests a month. Paid plans raise the limit.
